Alfred Welch McIntosh

April 14, 1939 - March 11, 2001

Mr. Alfred Welch McIntosh , 61, a native of Charlotte, NC and a resident of Mobile, AL, for 27 years, died on Sunday, March 11, 2001 in a local Mobile hospital.

He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. Mr. McIntosh was an ardent relic explorer. He was a 32 degree Mason and a member of George U. Potter, F&AM Lodge #912 and also a member of the Abba Temple Shrine. Mr. McIntosh was employed by Simplex Corporation for more than 30 years, retiring in 2000.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred C. and Ruby W. McIntosh . He is survived by his former wife, Ann McIntosh; one son, Brian Keith (Alice) McIntosh; two grandsons, Matthew McIntosh and Josh Everett, all of Mobile; one brother, Maurice (Janice) McIntosh of Charlotte, NC; one aunt, Beulah Dean of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Burial was in Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Charlotte, NC.
