Robert Cliff Barkley Sr

October 25, 1938 - December 10, 1991

Mr. Robert Cliff Barkley Sr., 53, of Stanley, formerly of Charlotte,
died Dec. 10, 1991, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia of a heart attack. Funeral was at Union Grove Baptist Church in Huntersville, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Barkley , a K mart receiving and shipping manager, was a Mecklenburg
County native. He was a 1957 graduate of North Mecklenburg High School.

Survivors are his wife, Betty of Stanley; sons, Robert Barkley Jr. of San
Diego, James Barkley , Joe Barkley ; mother, Mrs. Ruth Irvin of Huntersville;
brother, Craven Barkley ; sister, Mrs. Betty Donaldson of Mooresville;
stepfather, Lynn Irvin of Huntersville; stepbrothers, Dale Irvin, Terry Irvin, both of Huntersville; two grandchildren.
