Travis Allen Childers, 17, of 13419 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville, died Jan. 4, 1995, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Travis, a North Mecklenburg High School 10th-grader, was a Mecklenburg County native and a member of New Hearts of Charlotte and Camp Care.

Survivors are his parents, James and Barbara Childers of Huntersville; brothers, Bryan Childers, Marshall Childers, Stacy Childers, all of Huntersville; grandparents, Jessie and Alice Hunt of Huntersville; great-grandmothers, Mrs. Mary Gibson, Mrs. Alberta Lowrance, both of Huntersville.
