Miss Laura Frances Barnette, 16, of 6620 Cashion Rd., Huntersville, died April 7, 1995, as a result of an auto accident.

Miss Barnette, a Mecklenburg County native, was a student at North Mecklenburg High School, where she was a member of the IB program and a student trainer for the athletic department.

Survivors are her father, Michael Barnette Jr. of Huntersville; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bolton Jr. of Huntersville; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Barnette, Mrs. Mary Randall, all of Huntersville; great-grandfather, Willie Barnette of Huntersville; step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bolton of Asheville.
