Mr. Andrew "Drip" Curtis Phillips, 42, of Mount Holly, formerly of Charlotte died Saturday, June 16, 2001 at his residence.

He was born July 7, 1958 in Mecklenburg County. Mr. Phillips graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in 1976 and formerly worked at Edgcomb Metals in Charlotte. Andrew was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Liddell Phillips of Mount Holly, NC, formerly of Charlotte; parents, Clarence and Betty Griffin Phillips of Charlotte; one brother, Terry Phillips of Huntersville, NC; one sister, Sally Murray of Charlotte; one niece, Meagan Murray and one nephew, Michael Murray; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Mildred Liddell of Grass Valley, CA.
