Randy Rogers

Born September 24, 1958, Mecklenburg County, NC Died August 04, 2006, Johnson City, TN

Randy "Timothy" Rogers, age 47, 218 Hurley Hollow Road, Elizabethton, TN, died Friday, August 4, 2006, in the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following an extended illness. A native of Charlotte, NC, he was a son of Margie Eury Rogers, Charlotte, NC, and the late Larry Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was a naturalist and particularly enjoyed butterflies and wildflowers and riding his favorite horse, Xena. He was co-owner of The Funny Farm, Stoney Creek Community. Mr. Rogers had worked at Carolina Door Controls for over 25 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mitsi Rogers, of the home, one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Bruce Freemon, Spring Hill, TN, one son, Timothy Rogers and his girlfriend, Deborah Funk, Elizabethton, TN, one granddaughter, Megan Freemon, Spring Hill, TN, and two sisters, Kathy Greene, York, SC, and Tracy Rogers, Charlotte, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
