Ms. Susan Elaine Rogers, 39, of 9438 Pembroke Road, Huntersville, died Saturday, August 22, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Ms. Rogers was a native of Easton, Pennsylvania, born August 23, 1958, and was employed as a Musician. She was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church, a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1976, and a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC, Class of 1980. She played with the N.C. School of the Arts in Europe, and also Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Ontario Singers, and the Youth Symphony of the Carolinas. She was listed in the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in 1978 and 1979. Shortly after college, she was diagnosed with Lupus. She was a lover of animals, flowers, and music.

Survivors include her parents, Donald J. and Gloria T. Rogers of Huntersville, NC; two brothers, Mark D. Rogers of Concord, NC, and Craig S. Rogers of Huntersville, NC.
