Mrs. Boyd, 48, of Huntersville, died July 30, 2006, at her residence.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband, Thomas Gene Boyd of Huntersville; sons, Lamontres D. Boyd of Charlotte, and Breyon M. Boyd of Huntersville; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Moore of Huntersville; grandson, Christopher Boyd of Charlotte; sister, Cynthia Moore of Huntersville; step-sister, Linda Elmore (Joe) of Huntersville; brothers, Clyde Moore, Jr. of Huntersville, and Rodney Moore of Charlotte; step-brother, William Springs of Kannapolis; step-daughters, Patricia Dunbar and Samantha Young, both of New York City; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and four aunts.
