Mike Barnette

February 18, 1957 - January 4, 1997

Mr. Joe Michael "Mike" Barnette, Jr., 39, of Beatties Ford Road, Huntersville, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 18, 1957, in Mecklenburg County, the son of Margie M. Barnette of Huntersville and the late Joe Michael Barnette, Sr.

He was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church, former employee of Lockheed Aircraft and an amateur Ham Operator KD 4 Fef.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include brothers Scott Barnette and Rick Barnette, both of Huntersville; a sister, Miss Cindy Barnette of Huntersville; and grandfather Willie M. Barnette of Huntersville.
