Jeff Hunter

February 12, 1958 - May 19, 2003

Mr. Jeffrey B. Hunter, 45, was born February 12, 1958, in Charlotte, NC. On Monday, May 19, 2003, a life we loved quietly entered into the presence of the Lord at his residence.

He was the son of Thelma M. Hunter and the late George Hunter. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Rockwell AME Zion Church.

Jeffrey devoted his life to his special friend, Virginia Shippy, and his nieces. He was a member of Unique Lodge #85, P.H.A. and Charlotte Consistory #35.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted mother, Thelma; sister, Joyce Rucker; three nieces, ShaRhonda Hunter, Christel Rucker and Lakisha Rucker; two great-nieces, Mikaela and Kristen, all of Lithonia, GA; special uncles and aunts, James I. and Frances Gaither, Samuel and Maggie McCauley, James and Rosie Grier, all of Charlotte, NC, and John and Gladys McClellan of New York. In addition, he is survived by stepmother, Delores Hunter; two step-sisters, Johnette Michelle Weathers and Kelvis Weathers, all of Charlotte, NC; and a host of close relatives and countless friends.
